Privacy policy

Nomad is designed so there’s nothing about you to disclose. The agent runs solely on your router. For Nomad Pro we have no accounts and collect no personal data.

What the license server stores (Pro)

• router_id — a one-way hash of the device’s hardware identifiers.
• sn_hash — SHA-256 of the serial number, only for support recovery.
• Model and firmware-version strings, timestamps of activations and transfers.

We do not store raw serials, IP addresses or any personal data. The client IP is seen transiently only for rate-limiting — it is not recorded.

Requests you submit

When you request access, a Pro license, or a place in the Neo VPN beta, the site stores the email address you provide — and any optional name or note — with your explicit consent and solely to reply. These messages are kept on our own infrastructure, separately from the anonymous Pro side; they are never sold or shared, and are deleted on request.

Traffic

The license server neither sees nor routes your traffic.

Data controller & your rights

The data controller is Nakitel LLC (ТОВ «Накітель»), 44a Yevhena Konovaltsia St., office 731, 01133 Kyiv, Ukraine. For any privacy request, contact [email protected].

Lawful basis. The email addresses you submit through the request and beta forms are processed on the basis of your consent (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a)), which you may withdraw at any time. The Pro side processes no personal data, so it falls outside this basis entirely.

Retention. Request and beta emails are kept only as long as needed to handle your request and any license that results from it — and in any case no longer than 24 months — after which they are deleted. Pseudonymous Pro records (router_id, sn_hash, model/firmware, timestamps) are retained for the life of the license to enable recovery and transfers.

Recipients. The request and beta lists are stored on our own infrastructure and are never sold or shared. If you proceed to a paid Pro license, payment is handled by our payment provider acting as Merchant of Record. No personal data is shared with any other third party.

Your rights. Under the GDPR you may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction or portability of your data, object to processing, and lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. As the Pro side holds no personal data, these rights apply to the emails you submit through the forms — exercise them via [email protected].

Cookies & local storage

The site sets no tracking cookies and uses no third-party analytics. We keep only privacy-preserving, aggregate counts — which section was viewed, a rough country, and desktop vs. mobile — with no cookies, no stored IP and nothing that identifies you. Your theme and language preferences live in your browser’s local storage; none of this ever leaves our own infrastructure.

Terms of use

Pro license

Nomad Pro is a one-time, perpetual license bound to one router at a time. It can be transferred to a new device within the rate limits. The key is your account access; keep it safe.

Eval codes

Eval codes are keys with a limited lifetime (TTL). When they expire, Pro features fold away; your settings and data remain on the device.

Acceptable use

Nomad is a privacy tool for lawful personal use. You are responsible for complying with local laws on VPN, Tor and network-identity management.

No warranty

The software is provided “as is”.

Refunds

Nomad Pro is currently issued by request. When a paid license is arranged, payment is handled by our payment provider acting as Merchant of Record, and refunds follow that provider’s policy and applicable consumer-protection law.

Nomad Pro (one-time)

A refund request for Pro is submitted via support or your payment receipt. Since activation cryptographically binds the license to the device, a refund is accompanied by releasing the binding.

EU/EEA right of withdrawal. Pro is a digital product delivered as a license key. If you are an EU/EEA consumer you have a 14-day right of withdrawal. Because the key unlocks features immediately on activation, by activating Pro you request immediate performance and acknowledge that this right is lost once the license is activated (Consumer Rights Directive 2011/83/EU, Art. 16(m)). Unactivated keys are refundable within 14 days; refunds on activated licenses are at our discretion under our payment provider’s buyer policy.

Nomad Neo VPN (coming soon)

Neo VPN isn’t sold yet — for now it’s a free closed beta, so there’s nothing to refund. We’ll publish cancellation and refund terms for the subscription before launch.
